Hi, I’m Lisa Adkins—photographer, storyteller, and lifelong wanderer with a camera in hand. With over 30 years of experience, my goal has always been the same: to capture the heart of every moment and every person I photograph. Raised among the rolling hills of West Tennessee, I draw inspiration from the landscapes, communities, and stories that surround me. My photography journey began back in 4th grade when I won my first camera in a 4-H contest, and I haven’t stopped chasing light and meaning since.

From high school darkrooms to concert stages and courthouse weddings, I’ve had the honor of documenting everything from intimate family moments to major music festivals. I’ve been the official photographer for events like the Dottie West Music Fest, the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival, and the West Tennessee Metal Devastation Festival. I’ve photographed legendary faces like Henry Winkler and followed the rhythm of the Highway 41 Blues Band, all while staying grounded in my mission to preserve real-life stories with honesty and heart.

I’m a self-taught photographer with a deep respect for the craft and the people in front of my lens. My motto is “Have Camera, Will Travel”—because whether I’m shooting in my home state or halfway across the country, I bring the same passion, creativity, and care to every frame.
